About
Modern Art Cowboy is an experiential arts agency and cultural strategy studio bridging creativity and commerce.
We lead multi-sector cultural projects across civic, real estate, and commercial industries—rooted in immersive media, artist visibility, and strategic funding models.
From civic placemaking to digital activations and public-private partnerships, we build scalable platforms that connect artists to systems, stories, and capital.

Mission
We turn creativity into capital — and culture into systems that scale.

Modern Art Cowboy exists to embed art at the center of how we build, brand, and experience the world. Our mission is to craft immersive, artist-led strategies that drive visibility, economic value, and cultural relevance across civic, commercial, and creative sectors.

We partner with cities, developers, institutions, and organizations to transform vision into action — through storytelling, design, public engagement, and funding strategy.
Every project we produce is rooted in equity, built for longevity, and designed to scale — ensuring artists aren’t just part of the story, but leading it.
Our
Story
Modern Art Cowboy is an experiential arts agency shaping immersive storytelling, artist visibility, and cultural infrastructure through strategy, design, and community activation.
Founded by Prystine Echevarria, the agency began with a focus on recovering lost artist legacies and has evolved into a for-profit platform supporting civic placemaking, public art, real estate integration, and digital media campaigns.
Modern Art Cowboy connects artists with systems — brands, cities, developments, and institutions — ensuring creativity is not just seen, but resourced, scaled, and sustained. Based in Seattle with projects across the West Coast, MAC leads cross-sector partnerships at the intersection of culture, commerce, and future-building.

What We Are

-
Strategic placemaking & real estate integration
-
Artist ecosystem development & talent pipelines
-
Civic storytelling & public engagement campaigns
-
Immersive media & digital art activations
-
Funding development & cross-sector partnerships

We operate at the intersection of design, infrastructure, policy, and creative production — building systems that support art, equity, and innovation.

Who We Build With
Within our living network of Clients, Collaborators and Creative Partners, we work with those who see art not as ornament, but as infrastructure — a strategic force for shaping culture, community, and capital.

Our partners span civic, commercial, and creative sectors — from city leaders and real estate developers to tech firms, cultural institutions, and independent artists. What they share is a belief that creativity drives value — and a desire to work with a team that can turn bold vision into executed strategy.

At every scale, we build systems where artistic expression meets economic return — and where stories don’t just inspire, they move markets. We serve not only the institutions that shape our cities, but also the artists and communities at the heart of them — ensuring creativity is visible, viable, and valued.

Founder Bio
Prystine Echevarria

Prystine Echevarria is a cultural producer, creative strategist, and founder of Modern Art Cowboy, an experiential arts agency shaping immersive storytelling, civic engagement, and cultural infrastructure across the West Coast and beyond.
She is also the co-founder of multiple women- and minority-owned ventures including Castro Construction & Design and Cloud Licensing Pros, a certified Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP); operating businesses in Washington, Arizona, and California.
Prystine’s career began in the high-stakes world of tech, digital marketing, and experiential campaigns, working with top agencies like GMR and 360DG to lead major activations for global clients. Her portfolio includes Dreamforce (Salesforce), GitHub Universe, Super Bowl LVIII and Budweiser. She has executed immersive brand experiences for Jaguar, CBS, prestigious luxury Food, Wine and Cider companies, as well as landmark events like FOG Design+Art Fair, WineRiot, Fancy Food Show NYC and SF, Eat Drink SF, UnCorked, and Pebble Beach Food & Wine. From San Francisco to Miami, New York to Boston, Prystine has built a national footprint in brand strategy, creative development, and funding execution—bringing emerging luxury brands to market with artistic vision and business fluency.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, she pivoted to launch a medical device company focused on dental safety innovation — gaining deep insight into product development, sourcing, and agile entrepreneurship. Yet her long-standing passion for art, legacy, and design led her to pursue a more mission-aligned path.
Prystine founded Modern Art Cowboy as a curatorial practice rooted in recovering overlooked artist stories, expanding representation, and building identity-driven market value for marginalized creators. What began as acquisition, cataloguing, and investment evolved into a full-service consultancy spanning artist legacy development, immersive public art, cultural placemaking, and community-centered design.
After relocating to West Seattle, she embedded herself in local business networks—including the Seattle Metro Chamber, West Seattle Chamber, and BIPOC-led advocacy groups—to connect underrepresented artists with long-term contracts and visibility. Her work has led artists into major brand partnerships, including creative commissions for Starbucks, Museum of Flight, Boeing, regional business chambers, and helped secure paid opportunities across real estate, tech, public art, and civic sectors.
Having partnered with local arts organizations like Cattle Track Arts Compound in Scottsdale, Future Arts in Seattle and The Midway in San Francisco. She currently serves as co-producer of the Future Arts District, a Future Arts legacy-aligned initiative with the FIFA World Cup 2026, where she leads production strategy, funding and partnerships development, to ensure measurable ROI for both cultural and civic partners.
Prystine is also transforming Castro Construction & Design into a powerful platform for women-led design and infrastructure. Through its flagship media initiative, The Blueprint Sessions, she’s building a creative ecosystem with local, leading design, build and architecture organizations and studios, that unites general contracting, design-forward development, and cultural storytelling—driving lead generation, strategic partnerships, and community visibility across real estate, construction, and the arts.
Across all her ventures, Prystine is known for translating creative vision into capital—finding the funding, building the network, writing the proposal, and delivering the deal. She brings an unmatched ability to bridge art and commerce, strategy and soul, in service of equity, art and future-building.
